Me and the Dreamy DoomsdaySweet romantic comedy continues this series。 I recommend reading them in order。 The senior ladies are up to their unusual matchmaking。 A scenic camping trip leads to mischief and romance。 Intriguing characters and story。 Another Jessie Gussman winner。

Me and the Dreamy Doomsday by Jessie Gussman （5 stars）A bittersweet love story because one of our favorite ladies in the trio， Miss Agnes the penultimate matchmaker， is ill。 But a sweet love story all the same。 The issues that Kori deals with are ones that are easy to relate to: those of running away rather than allowing herself to become too deeply attached to anyone for fear of the pain it will cause if that person leaves or is taken away。 One thing I love about Ms。 Gussman’s books is that dee Me and the Dreamy Doomsday by Jessie Gussman （5 stars）A bittersweet love story because one of our favorite ladies in the trio， Miss Agnes the penultimate matchmaker， is ill。 But a sweet love story all the same。 The issues that Kori deals with are ones that are easy to relate to: those of running away rather than allowing herself to become too deeply attached to anyone for fear of the pain it will cause if that person leaves or is taken away。 One thing I love about Ms。 Gussman’s books is that deeper character issues are discussed and overcome， or at least the character is made aware of deeper issues that need work and they begin the process （usually with the support of the love interest who， in turn has issues of his/her own that are being worked on）。 I guess what I’m trying to say is that Ms。 Gussman write flawed characters who feel real and who inspire us readers to trust that God can change us for the better， too。 This book felt like the last of the series and I sincerely hope that it’s not。。。*poor， **ok， ***good， ****very good， *****something special 。。。more

I was able to read a copy this for my honest thoughts on it。 It took a min to understand who voice I was reading at 1st。 But once I got in to it it was a fun light heart book about finding ones self and trusting ones heart and understanding another。 Full of laughter and antics from the town match maker。 I wish the ending had a little more。 Then again it leaves it open for another book。 A clean， sweet， short read。 I’ll be encourage my teen to read。 This series。

This was a delightful read。 It will make you laugh but also make you think。 Ms。 Gussman showed through Kori how sometimes we are our own worst enemy。 Yet， the loving care of someone such as Hoover can open us up to the possibilities of our life being greater than we imagine。

This whole series has been a lot of fun。 A lot of silly and lighthearted love and lessons。 This one was a little more。 A bit more of a life lesson than opposites attract。 A little sad even。 Miss Agnes and her bucket list has kept us quite entertained， and truly I want to keep a little Miss Agnes in me， and not let age stop me from living， from doing fun， crazy， silly things so that I always have a good story to tell。

I would have never put Kori or Hoover together。 But Miss Agnes has seen them together， and being the ultimate match maker that she is， she brings them together （subtly and not so subtly） again and again。 And they really love each other！ I love that Kori finally faces her fear of commitment - she's led such a nomadic and temporary life - seeing others whose relationships she admires - her parent's relationship， for example - yet having been burned a few times， she's reluctant to take the commitme I would have never put Kori or Hoover together。 But Miss Agnes has seen them together， and being the ultimate match maker that she is， she brings them together （subtly and not so subtly） again and again。 And they really love each other！ I love that Kori finally faces her fear of commitment - she's led such a nomadic and temporary life - seeing others whose relationships she admires - her parent's relationship， for example - yet having been burned a few times， she's reluctant to take the commitment plunge until Hoover talks her into it and shows her what commitment means。 I love the antics of the retirement home ladies， although seeing Miss Agnes decline is a bit heartbreaking！ I am incredibly invested in these characters。 Their antics are so funny， and this book is so well written。 I could see some of the scenery in my mind's eye。 。。。more

Another wonderful story out of Good Grief， Idaho！ Kori and Hoover are such a great example of opposites complementing each other， even though Kori fights it every step of the way。 The elderly ladies from Cherry Tree have to get into it， of course， especially Miss Agnes。 This one has lots of laughs， love， and bittersweet moments to keep you reading all the way to the end， and still wanting more。
